Tauranga Coastguard is a volunteer Search and Rescue organisation based in Tauranga, providing emergency assistance on the Tauranga Harbour and surrounding coastal waters.

The team operates well-equipped rescue vessels to respond to emergencies, support boaters, and assist in marine safety operations. In major incidents, Tauranga Coastguard works alongside other regional Coastguard units.

In an emergency call 111 and ask for Police, or use VHF Channel 16.  Call *500 for non-urgent on-water assistance.
